located between the historic centre of figueres and the natural edge of the park “les aigues”, the proposal reinterprets the perimeter block as a porous and connected structure. rather than acting as a closed urban edge, the building opens itself to both the city and the landscape, mediating between consolidated urban fabric and open green space. the project includes two residential blocks joined at ground floor level to form a unified building that allows permeability across the site. this shared base accommodates collective and semi-public uses, facilitating continuity between pedestrian routes, public spaces, and the park. through this strategy, the proposal blends into the surrounding urban and green networks, promoting accessibility, social interaction, and a gradual transition between built and natural environments.
